Scienscope introduces interconnected systems at IPC APEX 2022

Improve OEE and product quality

The global pandemic brought many challenges and an opportunity for resilience and new ways of adapting to the challenges.  Companies have realized that embracing a smart factory is not about if it will happen but when the integration will begin.  Digitization of material gives you real-time analytics of your inventory.  Scienscope has been developing innovations since 1994 to help with these difficult challenges.  Allowing companies to be more efficient, productive, and less wasteful.

After two years of countless online video conferences, demos, and seminars, it feels great to meet our old friends face to face and personally shake their hands.  Thanks to our old friends and new prospects, who took the time and courage to attend our show and make the award-winning product presentation successful.  For those who reluctantly missed the show, here is a recap.

IMS-100 (Reel Smart Lite)

Our award-winning IMS-100 systems scan the incoming reels labels, register them to the MES system, and print the new label from the MES system with a unique ID within seconds.

Upgrade available by adding a top scanner for double-sided scanning of all your incoming material.

Smart Storage Rack

It is also the first time we introduced our second-generation smart racks.  They have improved construction and come with full proved sensors.

The racks have become an invaluable part of the material managing system, bundled with an incoming reel label scanner and our X-ray counter.

AXC-800 III Component Counter

And finally, as expected, our reputable AXC-800III standalone X-ray component counter received overwhelming attention.  With the improved AI algorithm and over five years of collective images, the machine can count the reels with 99.9% accuracy.

IPC APEX was an excellent opportunity for our customers to see how the AXC-800III capability work with Smart rack to inform MES where they are stored.
