GDS Improves Quality with X-Scope 3000
GDS- Global Display Solutions is a multinational company that started in Romania, Arad, in 2004. Production is focused on electronics, from the electronic board to 85″ industrial monitors. Recently, the company upgraded its facility with new equipment, and the reason behind this was their continuous investment in the quality they provide to their customers.
SCIENSCOPE International is working in Europe with exclusive distributors for each territory. The final client, like GDS, will get the best support during and after-sales in the local language. Danutek Balkans is the appointed distributor in Romania who made the sale possible by finding the project, selling, installing, and training GDS personnel. The company plans to add SCIENSCOPE’s complete range of equipment in its new demo room as part of this year’s significant expansion and their new office building.
GDS Romania evaluated SCIENSCOPE’s X-Scope 3000 inspection system as part of a multinational company. It decided it was the best choice they could make and spread the news inside the GDS group. GDS Italy has purchased the same equipment because they were impressed by how the system worked and its capabilities after reviewing the system in a sister company from Romania. The company compared the equipment from several different suppliers and selected Scienscope International. “We chose SCIENSCOPE due to the capability, price, timely delivery, Industry 4.0 ready and support,” stated Mr. Sorin Lupan, Process engineering coordinator. “SCIENSCOPE provided the right information and advice on which products best fit our specific requirements.”
GDS completed the installation of the X-Scope 3000. “The impressive capabilities we have gained, such as automatic volumetric checking and measuring features, have resulted in some of our customers now mandating the use of these auto-inspection techniques for their products.” GDS Italy later bought the same equipment because they liked how the system worked and its capabilities.
GDS continues to invest in its facility and looks forward to evaluating SCIENSCOPE Material Management Solution for full traceability and is looking forward to continuing the partnership with Scienscope and enjoys the excellent relationship built from this purchase.
